Holiday Grading Definitions
The range of Back Track Adventures holidays is continually expanding. Our holidays vary from being very physically demanding (Graded as Challenging) through to little physical demand at all (Graded Relaxed and Indulgent). Back Track Adventures holidays visit exotic locations worldwide. It is important that you understand the fitness requirements of any holiday before you book.

RELAXED & INDULGENT: Suitable for anyone in good health looking for a fully escorted, relaxed and carefree style holiday staying in comfortable accommodation. You choose how physical you want the holiday to be. Holidays are usually based in one location for several days so you can explore at your leisure before moving on to the next place of interest on the itinerary.
Back Track RELAXED & INDULGENT grade holidays: Italy in Spring and Italy in Autumn
EASY: Suitable for anyone in good health and fitness.
Back Track EASY grade holidays: Great Southern
Africa Safari and Egypt, Jordan and Syria
EASY+: The addition of a plus sign indicates holiday has some limited easy trekking or other easy physical activity. Recommend you undertake personal light training before trip.
MODERATE: Suitable for anyone in good health and fitness. Holiday will involve trekking and may also involve other physical activities as indicated in the itinerary. A minimum 3 month, personal pre trip training/walking programme is recommended depending on your current fitness level when booking.
Back Track MODERATE grade holidays: Morocco and The Inca Empire
CHALLENGING: Strenuous trekking and possibly other physical activities are involved as indicated in the itinerary. You must be very fit. As a minimum undertaking a disciplined 6 month, personal pre trip training/walking programme is recommended depending on your current fitness level when booking..
